The Wellness Hotel Szindbád ***+ is waiting for the dear Guests in Balatonszemes, on the south coast of Lake Balaton, 130 km / one hour away from Budapest, throughout the year. With its parks full of beautiful, ancient trees the hotel is a real paradise for those who are seeking carefree relaxation, tranquility and recreations.
In the summer time genuine the Balaton-mood, in winter the relaxing wellness section is provided for our Guests. Besides all that, our hotel – regardless of the season – is a perfect venue for conferences, company meetings, weddings, teambuilding trainings as well as social gatherings.
All the 3 buildings of the hotel provides accomodation, and these residential units satisfy all requirements. The accomodation for couples and conference attendents is in double rooms, but we do not forget about larger groups of friends nor families, for whom our apartments and deluxe apartments provide convenience during the time of stay.
Our prices contain half-board catering. If do not take advantage of dinner, the room prices will remain unchanged regardless of this.

Buffet restaurant and show cooking
Our recently renovated spacious restaurant is await for the hotel Guests as well as street visitors with a show kitchen. We would like to provide for all an unforgettable memory with the combination of the heavenly tastes and the unfold spectacle.
We are able to make gluten- and lactose free food also! Please notify the receptionist when you arrive if someone in your family would like to order this!
Látványkonyhánkban az Önök igényeinek megfelelően készítjük el a tojásételeket – omlett, tükörtojások, rántotta -, valamint kérhető frissen facsart narancslé, répa- és céklalé, fél literes banán shake melyek felárairól itt tájékozódhat. These can be found in the main and the wellness buildings of the hotel. All of them are equipped with bathrooms and Full HD LCD Tvs with a diagonal of a minimum of 42″ as well as wide variety of channels. The rooms contain two seperate beds, which can be converted to double beds if needed.
These rooms – which can be found in the main building of the hotel – are offered primarily for families. All of them are equipped with 3 or 4 beds of full value, bathroom and Full HD LCD Tvs with a diagonal of a minimum of 42″ as well as wide variety of channels.
In the seperate apartman house 10, while in the main building 2 family apartments can be found, which are mainly 2 or more roomed (1 bedroom + 1 living-and dining room + kitchenette, or 2 bedrooms + living-and dining room + kitchenette) and climatized, also equipped with bathroom (with shower) and Full HD LCD Tvs with a digonal of a minimum of 42″.
These two deluxe suites are the smallest of our hotel, which are primarily offered for couples, who arrive just the two of them or with a baby. One-roomed, double bedded with a kitchenette and a bathroom with douche and a Full HD LCD Tvs with a digonal of a minimum of 42″.
The 8 most comfortable and most spacious, climatized suites with balcony can be found in the wellness building. 6 of them has two bedrooms and open-plan kitchen in the living room, while two suites serve as convenient accommodation for 5 people. For most of the suites we can provide extra beds for two more people by converting the couches. The living rooms are equipped with Full HD LCD Tvs with a digonal of a minimum of 42″.
